This blog's purpose is to provide you information about our building process. Through the leadership of Fr. Chris, the Steering Comittee, and Eventually the Parish Council, we will provide information here from time to time about the direction we will move towards building. It is our hope this blog will provide a place for your questions and comments as we say "yes" to God as a community.

How do we identify our building pledge, will we have a separate envelope? Where is our sunday donations going now? What is the difference between regular and building donations?
Can I make a one time large donation instead of a 5 year donation? Can I make a stock transfer?
You will add your contribution to the building fund to your regular parish contribution. You make use the same check/same envelope. You will need to indicate on the outside of the envelope what portion of the funds should be placed in the building fund.
where is our Sunday donation going now? If you haven't specified on the outside of the envelope, your donation goes into the regular giving category. The money in this category go toward the regular working of the parish. building maintenance, supplies, ongoing ministry support, staff salaries etc. Currently, when you specify your gift it is placed in the designated "building" category it is exclusively used to pay for existing building debt and future building programs.
You may make a one time large donation in place or in addition to your five year committment. You can put it in a regular sunday offering envelope, remember to designate to the building fund, mail it or deliver it to the parish office or contact us if another option is preferable.
You may also make a stock transfer. We are required to cash out a stock transfer within 5 days of taking ownership. We would be happy to set up an account with your brokerage firm. Please contact the parish office for more information if you are interested in making a stock transfer.
