Wow! Looks just like All Saints... that is, it looks like the community room at a retirement home.

I couldn't agree with the above comment more. Why not build something along the lines of the new St. John Neumann? That actually looks Catholic.

No more, no more of these lecture halls, rather than Churches.

Yes, please don't waste the people's money building this. Remember, for some reason uglier costs more everytime!

I was under the impression that the plan was similar to ASC that this building would become the parish hall after growth and the need for a larger church building became apparent.

Maybe all the anonymous folks that are letting us know about how bad they think our parish hall is looking would want to pony up, say, $12 million or so. This way, we can go right to building our Church without taking on massive debt that we can't realistically pay back. Kindest regards to all here! Please consider coming for Sunday Mass where we can show you that the Catholic Church can be warm and inviting, where we put our people first, and buildings second.

Rev. Mr. Murphy-Racey,

I agree that the souls of people should be the greatest concern and hence churches should be for the worship of God and not of self as these stadium like structures suggest. One wonders how such poor countries like Mexico, &c. were able to give the very best and build beautiful churches while we spend millions of dollars and just get a poorly constructed building made out of dry wall and cement blocks that does not even resemble a church.
